The General Brown Central School District wants to hear from you. We would like to know about your accomplishments since graduating high school, including but not limited to Academics, Art, Music, Athletics, Citizenship, and any other positive life experiences you would like to share. Please send a picture, your name, graduating year, and a short write up documenting your experience. We will review your submission and post it to the school website and Facebook page. This is a great way to stay connected and show the community what being a Lion is all about.
On September 22-23 the General Brown Central School District will be hosting Engineers Teaching Algebra. 7th grade students will have a chance to learn hands-on problem solving skills from engineers right in their own classroom. Engineers Teaching Algebra makes algebra lively and real and promotes STEM education. More information about the program can be found at www.engineersteachingalgebra.com
The General Brown Central School District is proud to be one of the recipients of the 2016 DoDEA (Department of Defense Education Act) grants. This $250,000 grant will be used to provide professional development and technology to the staff and students of both Dexter and Brownville-Glen Park Elementary to promote student learning in the area of English Language Arts. The grant period spans until the year 2021. We are both excited and proud to be partnering with DoDEA to provide quality student learning for both our military and non-military dependent students.
